Hey everyone! Just thought I'd share a few photos of my experience with the race last weekend...
La Routa Maya is a canoe race that spans the width of Belize. Its a four day, 180 mi. race that brings out locals and tourists alike. Its grueling, intense, and a great time. I spent the weekend doing HIV/AIDS outreach with fellow PeaceCorps Volunteers (we have a committee for HIV/AIDS).
All in all, our efforts were a success: 6 PCVs, 4 days, 16.5 hours, 1,141 people reached through our efforts!!!!!
